100-Level University Student Confesses To Kidnapping And Killing Female Colleague

After Collecting Ransom, Kogi Student Kills Victim To Avoid Exposure, Attempts To Extort More From Grieving Family

In a shocking crime, Jeremiah, a 100-level Biology student at the Federal University Lokoja (FUL), Kogi State, has admitted to kidnapping and killing his female colleague, Damilola, after extorting her family.

The suspect lured Damilola into an uncompleted building, where he held her captive. After demanding and receiving a N400,000 ransom from her family, Jeremiah tragically ended her life to prevent her from identifying him.

Police later arrested the student and recovered Damilola’s body from a bush where Jeremiah had buried her. During interrogation, he claimed he acted alone and denied reports of mutilating her body, despite police allegations that her genitals had been cut off.

Shockingly, after killing Damilola, Jeremiah attempted to extort an additional N10 million from her family, but was apprehended before further harm could be done.

This horrifying incident has left the university community in mourning as investigations continue.
