Leader of the Labour Party in Bende, Chief Iheanyi Frank Chinasa has applauded members of Bende Legislative Council and Body of Transition Committee Councillors from the 13 wards of the LGA for their steadfast support, dedication and commitment to the New Abia vision of the state Governor, Dr Alex Chioma Otti and ideals of the party.
Speaking when the team paid him a solidarity visit in his country home at Uzuakoli, Chief Chinasa, who was the party’s flag bearer for the Bende House of Representatives election in 2023, appreciated the LP henchmen for their contributions towards the overall performance of the party at the polls.
Chief Chinasa used the occasion to remind the visitors that as representatives of the party in Bende LGA, they are expected to be good ambassadors while acting as “the eagle eyes and swift feet of the Governor and the party at the grassroots”.
In their response, the team reaffirmed continued loyalty to the leadership of Chinasa in Bende LGA while pledging to ensure further growth and development of the Labour Party in the nooks and crannies of Bende.
The visit had in attendance, the Leader of the Legislative Council, Hon. Samuel Kalu, the Deputy Leader, Hon. Ogbiti, the Chairman of all ward Chairmen, Pastor Thomas Ukonu, and other members of the Council.
