The Men’s Christian Association of the Presbyterian Church Nigeria, Umuola Parish on Sunday, 16th June 2024, honoured the leader of Labour Party Bende, Chief Iheanyi Frank Chinasa, Agu Bende as a dynamic leader. The award is in recognition of Chief Chinasa’s humanitarian support and services to society.
Receiving the award, Chief Iheanyi Chinasa thanked the president of the association, Hon. Onyedikachi Iroegbu, the Church, for such a great honour and pledged to continually uphold the dignity of the institution of fatherhood and in showing excellence in leadership.
He stated that the role of a father as a leader and builder can not be overemphasised, saying that “the father, as the head of the nucleus of the society, is a major contributor to the prospect and future of that society”. Chinasa further stressed that a father must live as an icon of integrity, dignity, and success.
The occasion was graced by notable dignitaries, including the Acting Chairman Labour Party Abia State, Hon. Samuel Emenike Otti, Member, representing Bende North in the Abia State House Of Assembly, Dr. Nnamdi Ibekwe, Dr. Silas Eke, Hon. James Egwuonwu and host of other members of Chief Chinasa’s team.
