Rivers is Smart: As Obidient family endorses Sen. Magnus Abe.

In what could be rather surprising but quite anticipated move, the Obidient family in River state yesterday, 6th March, endorsed the candidacy of Sen. Magnus Ngei Abe.
Sen. Abe, who is the governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party has over the past weeks received massive support and endorsement from different socio-cultural and religious groups, in Rivers state.

The Nchia born lawmaker Abe, has distinguished himself as a quintessence whose success are numerous both in private life and in public service. A successful lawyer, Abe understand the workings of the public service haven served as secretary to the state government and in other executive positions in the state, and will build strong cohesion between the legislature and the executive as he understands how best to manage these very organs of governance.

The endorsement of Sen. Magnus by the Obidient family in Rivers, could be seen as the mother of all endorsement coming five days to the gubernatorial election and barely a week after the Obidient family came out to show their strength at the polls. 

The group made this endorsement at an appreciation party held to show gratitude to its members and the Rivers people for standing with and voting massively for Peter Obi.

According to the leadership, the group considering the manifesto and plans of Sen. Abe for Rivers state unanimously adopted him as their consensus governorship candidate and urged all Obidient voters in Rivers to come out enmasse to vote Sen. Magnus Abe of the Social Democratic Party for A smarter Rivers .
The party had in attendance over 2000 obidients from across different areas of the state.
