A group the M5 Youth Congress, called on A PDP Chieftain, Alhaji Mohammed Suleiman, to desist making statements and comments that do not hold on the person of Hon Daucda Zakariah Nyamapa who is the member representing Michika/Madagali in the House of Representatives.
“For your information, we don’t know when you have become the spokesperson for the Michika/Madagali Constituents, or when you have become their decider on who they should vote and who they should not vote.”
The group in a statement jointly signed by its chairman Danladi Yakubu-Chairman and Secretary Joseph Jabani said the question of whether PDP’s leadership should accept the member representing or shouldn’t even arise, as he was accepted by the party in the first instance and he has not failed the party in any way whatsoever.
“For the record, Hon Dauda is a quiet man, who is developing his constituency silently, his achievements are great. Soon people will marvel, by the level of his commitment in entrenching dividends of democracy in his constituency,” the group said.
“We know that the likes of Mohammed Suleiman are afraid of the magnitude of acceptance, giving to Hon Dauda owing to his tremendous work in the constituency, and for this reason, they try to use the media to tarnish the image of the Honourable member, whom the whole constituencies are solidly behind.”
“Hon. Dauda is a peace-loving man, a man of the people, a friend to all, including the media and even the Thefindernews Medium, and as such we call on the media, including the Thefindernews not to allow itself to be used by any politician who to score cheap political points against Hon. Dauda,”
