Breaking News: TWITTER SHARES WHY THEY HAVEN’T BANNED TRUMP

Twitter has been under growing pressure to ban Trump from the platform. Many users have accused him of using his favorite form of communication to incite violence and raise nuclear tensions with North Korea. Well, the social media service has responded to the outcry, and although they didn’t specifically mention Donnie’s name, they said his Twitter fingers aren’t going anywhere.

“There’s been a lot of discussion about political figures and world leaders on Twitter, and we want to share our stance,” Twitter said in a blog post. “Blocking a world leader from Twitter or removing their controversial Tweets, would hide important information people should be able to see and debate. It would also not silence that leader, but it would certainly hamper necessary discussion around their words and actions.”

The company went on to say that Twitter is here to “serve and help advance the global, public conversation” and elected world leaders, like Trump. play a critical role in that conversation.
