Following the verdict of the Rivers State High Court in a protracted (18 Years) Oproama Community in Asari-toru Local Government Area of Rivers State Amadaboship legal battle, whereat the Court, in a well considered Judgement, emphatically held that the Burudokuye Jaw Royal dynasty is, and remains, the only Amadabo family of Oproama and so all acts of Amadabo installation purportedly done is null and void and likewise any purported installation of Chiefs!

Following this landmark judgement, the occupant of the Ancient stool of HRH Burudokuye Jaw, Chief Asifamabia Dick Jaw, a seasoned Banker and Community Development exponent proceeded to fulfill the traditional Amadabo installation rites of NAMA PELE and PERI TEE at the OPOLOBIA INKPU and AMAOGBO!

This was followed by the crowning proper and the revalidation of the Chieftaincy installations of Ellis Opuakwa and Adolphus Akani.

Of course, the Amayanabo of Kalabari, HRM, King Prof. T. J. T Princewill CON sent a powerful delegation of Chiefs of the Kalabari Se Kobiri to witness the entire proceedings to ensure it is in accordance with Kalabari traditions and customs!

The rest, as they say, is History!
